Job summary

Centorrino Technologies Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Operations Team Lead to oversee day-to-day ICT operations within a critical environment across ACT or SA. This 12-month contract role requires coordinating technical teams and stakeholders to keep services secure and available.

You'll lead incident response, service level management, and continuous improvement, reporting to senior leadership and aligning operational priorities with organisational goals.

Qualifications

• Experience leading ICT operations in large, complex environments.
• Strong leadership and service management capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement with executives and technical teams.
• Understanding of ICT operations, service availability and incident management.
• Familiarity with ISM and Essential Eight is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational management of critical ICT services and components.
• Monitor service availability and investigate outages or breaches of targets.
• Coordinate remedial activities and drive timely resolution.
• Provide guidance on availability, planning and improvement initiatives.
• Act as central coordinator between technical teams, management and leadership.
• Prioritise resources and operational requirements across multiple teams.
• Ensure leadership has information to support operations and change.
• Lead investigations into operational and security incidents.
• Engage stakeholders and communicate complex technical matters clearly.
• Develop recommendations and secure stakeholder buy-in on outcomes.

We are looking for an experiencedOperations Team Leadto oversee day-to-day operations and service availability across a critical ICT environment. This role is based inACT or SAand is offered as a12-month contract, with the potential for extension. You’ll provide operational leadership, coordinate technical teams and stakeholders, and help ensure services remain secure, available and aligned with operational requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the day-to-day operational management of critical ICT services and components.
• Monitor service availability and investigate outages, service disruptions and breaches of service targets.
• Coordinate remedial activities and drive timely issue resolution.
• Provide advice on service availability, operational planning, service improvement and performance.
• Act as a central coordination point between technical teams, management and senior leadership.
• Prioritise resources, activities and operational requirements across teams.
• Ensure leadership teams have the information and resources required to support ongoing operations and change.
• Lead and coordinate investigations into operational and security incidents.
• Engage with a broad range of stakeholders and communicate complex technical matters clearly.
• Develop and present recommendations, gaining stakeholder agreement on proposed outcomes.
• Support the maintenance of security requirements, operational processes and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across operational services and processes.

What You’ll Bring

• Demonstrated experience leading or managingICT operations, network, infrastructure or secure service capabilitieswithin a large and complex environment.
• Strong operational leadership and service management experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience working withsenior executives and technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving and issue-resolution capabilities.
• Experience navigating complex technical and operational environments to develop and maintain effective solutions.
• Experience managing service levels, operational performance and continuous improvement activities.
• Strong understanding of ICT operations, service availability and incident management.
• Knowledge of Australian Government information security policies, theInformation Security Manual (ISM)andEssential Eightwould be highly regarded.
• Familiarity with technologies such asfirewalls, DNS security, CASB, DLP and SIEM/SOARwould be advantageous.
• Understanding of enterprise identity and authentication concepts, includingSAML, LDAP/AD and Kerberos, would be beneficial.
• Relevant industry certifications such asPCNSE, CCNP Security, Broadcom/Symantec SWG or CompTIA Security+would be highly regarded.
