Job summary

Wymap Group is seeking an Operations Supervisor to support daily transport and logistics operations, working with drivers and the operations team to ensure smooth, efficient activity. This hands-on role suits someone with transport, logistics or aviation experience who is organised, reliable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This rostered position runs Tuesday to Saturday, 4:00am - 12:00pm, offering opportunities to lead and develop a dedicated operational team within Australia’s aviation

Qualifications

• Current HR or HC Driver's Licence.
• Minimum 3 years' experience within the heavy vehicle, transport or logistics industry.
• Experience within transport, logistics, airfreight or cargo operations.
• Understanding of HVNL, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and WHS requirements.
• Strong communication, leadership and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising operational staff, monitoring performance, attendance and task completion.
• Supporting daily transport operations and operational requirements.
• Undertaking heavy vehicle driving (HR or HC).
• Maintaining compliance with HVNL, WHS and company policies and procedures.
• Conducting fleet inspections, safety audits and operational checks.
• Liaising with customers, Ops Room and Operational Representatives to maximise service delivery and fleet efficiency.
• Maintaining the presentation and operational readiness of vehicles and equipment.
• Responding to incidents, monitoring operational performance and completing shift reporting.

As Operations Supervisor you’ll support the day-to-day transport and logistics operations, working closely with drivers and the wider operational team to help ensure daily activities run smoothly and efficiently.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with transport, logistics or aviation experience who is organised, reliable and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.

This position is rostered Tuesday to Saturday, 4:00am - 12:00pm.

What You'll Need

• Minimum 3 years' experience within the heavy vehicle, transport or logistics industry
• Experience within transport, logistics, airfreight or cargo operations
• Understanding of HVNL, Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and WHS requirements
• Strong communication, leadership and conflict resolution skills
• Sound administrative and computer skills
• Ability to remain calm, focused and organised in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
• Lead and develop a dedicated operational team
