Job summary

Blackbook Recruitment represents a leading industrial business in the storage and movement of dangerous goods. The role is based in South Sydney and reports to the Site Manager, focusing on warehousing and distribution operations.

As Operations Supervisor, you will collaborate with commercial, dispatch, engineering and maintenance teams to drive safe, compliant operations and continuous improvement. Salary is AU$125k–$140k plus Super.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics operations or closely related industries.
• Safety-first mindset with ability to improve safety across the business.
• Experience across warehousing and distribution operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support day-to-day site activities for safe, efficient operations.
• Supervise contractors, manage permits, verify safe systems of work.
• Plan and oversee operational training schedules to ensure personnel are trained and competent.
• Review, update and maintain operational procedures aligned with the Safety Management System.
