Cleanaway is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor in Geelong, VIC. You will support the Operations Manager, lead an operations team, drive customer satisfaction, and uphold a strong safety culture.

The role focuses on coordinating driver schedules, delivering excellent service, and promoting continuous improvement within a high-growth waste management environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading teams within an operational environment.
• Experience within the transport, logistics, waste management or related industries.
• Strong leadership capability with experience managing people, workloads and schedules.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
• A commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
• HR Licence highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule day to day operations of drivers runs and weekly work schedule
• Conduct driver debriefs, lead toolbox meetings and manage incident investigations
• Attend and contribute to council meetings and stakeholder discussions as required
• Consulting with line management in the development and management of operational targets
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and effectively resolve customer and stakeholder issues
• Drive operational efficiencies through continuous improvement initiatives and process reviews
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance and service delivery standards

The Opportunity

About You

We're looking for a confident and engaging leader who is comfortable presenting to groups and has previous supervisory experience, ideally within a transport, logistics or operational environment.
