Job summary

FindStaff AU is currently recruiting an experienced Operations Manager for Hills District / North West Sydney, NSW. You will lead day-to-day production and operations, driving productivity, continuous improvement and KPI performance across the site.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will develop people, establish SOPs, and optimise processes while delivering measurable results. The role suits a hands-on, structured leader with Lean/Kaizen experience, ERP project exposure, and a track record

Qualifications

About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established production-based business seeking an experienced Operations Manager to play a key leadership role in the ongoing development and performance of the operation.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position is responsible for leading day-to-day operations while driving productivity, continuous improvement, process optimisation and team performance.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on operational leader who enjoys creating structure, improving systems, developing people and delivering measurable operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production and operational activities.
• Drive productivity, workflow efficiency and operational performance.
• Coordinate labour, resources and equipment to maximise output.

About You

You are a structured, solutions-focused leader with experience managing production, manufacturing or operational teams and delivering operational improvements.

You will bring:

• Experience in an Operations Manager, Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Site Manager or similar leadership role.
• Exposure to Lean Flow, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen or similar continuous improvement methodologies will be highly regarded.
• Experience developing SOPs, workflows and process improvements.
• ERP implementation or systems improvement experience.
• Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management capability.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to drive accountability and performance.

Experience within manufacturing, production, horticulture, FMCG, food processing, packaging or similar operational environments will be highly regarded.
