Position Overview

ANC is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to lead our delivery experience and allocation team on a national level. In this role, you will ensure smooth execution of daily delivery operations, optimise resource allocation, and uphold the highest standards of service. This position requires a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and is truly passionate about customer centricity.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee the Allocation team responsible for optimising routes, meeting delivery deadlines/ outcomes, and relevant KPI’s
• Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Lead the Delivery Experience processes and operations to identify and resolve challenges
• Manage the day to day financials including but not limited to resourcing requirements, utilisation, workforce planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and deliver exceptional customer outcomes
• Responsible for developing and improving the tools and processes for the Delivery Experience team to drive increased performance and KPI outcomes
• Ensure that the Allocation team and the Delivery Experience team are focused on and keep the customer front of mind in everything that they do
• Everyone at ANC is responsible for safety. You will work with our Delivery Professionals and operations team to ensure our robust initiatives are being executed to focus on and continue to improve Safety & Wellbeing.

What are we looking for

• Demonstrated experience (5-10 years) in a similar industry and /or an operational leadership role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership and team management experience
• Familiarity with route optimisation tools and delivery management systems
• Demonstrated ability in managing and mentoring a medium sized, geographically dispersed and diverse operational team
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships, improve team engagement levels
• Flexible and adaptable attitude for our diverse environment
