Otway Precast Pty Ltd and Colac Mobile Cranes are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations, covering precast manufacturing, crane hire, transport and installation. You will help plan and commission a new manufacturing facility and develop efficient workflows for increased capacity.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, ERP experience, and a hands-on, results-driven approach to drive productivity and profitability across two established businesses.

At Otway Precast and Colac Mobile Cranes, we're entering an exciting new chapter, and we're looking for the right person to help lead the way.

We're preparing for a major expansion, relocating to a new facility featuring almost 4,000m² of manufacturing space on a 12-acre site. This investment will allow us to expand our heavyweight precast manufacturing capabilities, increase production capacity and pursue larger, more complex projects.

We're seeking an experienced, motivated and commercially minded Operations Manager who wants more than just another management role.

The Opportunity

Working directly with the Director, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operations of Otway Precast and Colac Mobile Cranes, overseeing precast manufacturing, crane hire, transport and installation activities.

You'll also play an important role in establishing our new manufacturing facility, contributing to production layouts, equipment selection, operational systems, workforce planning and the development of efficient manufacturing processes.

We're looking for someone who can lead people, improve performance, introduce fresh ideas and help build an operation capable of taking on bigger challenges.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading Operations

• Manage daily operations across precast manufacturing, crane hire, transport and installation.
