Job summary

Primebuild Recruitment and its established client on the Gold Coast seek a Senior Operations Manager to keep residential and commercial projects moving. You’ll work directly with Site Managers and have input into how construction operations are run.

You’ll also mentor the head office construction operations team, align construction, development and administration, and identify roadblocks early with senior management across the wider operation.

Construction, Development and Administration work closely together

What You'll Be Doing:

Work closely with Site Managers to keep projects moving and resolve issues

Support and mentor the head office construction operations team

Keep Construction, Development and Administration working together

Make sure approvals, documentation and procurement are ahead of construction

Identify roadblocks early and get the right people together to sort them

Review workflows and processes and improve the things that aren't working

Work alongside senior management across the wider construction operation

Who I'm Looking For:

Someone with proven experience in construction operations, who understands what it takes to keep multiple projects, teams and departments moving in the same direction.

Strong construction background

Experience working across multiple projects, teams or departments

Comfortable working with Site Managers and senior management

Process driven, organised and good at solving problems

Able to lead people, set priorities and hold people accountable

Most importantly, you understand what the site teams need from head office to keep projects moving
