Job summary

Premier Fresh Australia is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Adelaide site, driving day-to-day operations, safety, and team development. The role reports to the National Operations & Services Manager and focuses on achieving KPIs, cost control and cross-functional collaboration across supply chain, production and finance.

You will lead a committed team on a fast-paced site, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement while delivering exceptional service

Qualifications

• 5+ years' Operations Management experience.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to lead, coach and develop teams in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire high performance, implement improvements, and create a culture of accountability
• A continuous improvement mindset with a track record of improving operational performance.
• Strong understanding of operational performance, productivity, workforce planning, and cost management.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence outcomes across all levels of the organisation.
• Experience working in FMCG, fresh produce, food manufacturing, logistics or a similar fast-paced environment is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with WHS, CoR, and food safety requirements.
• Lead, coach and develop site teams, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Drive operational performance through the achievement of key site KPIs, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing initiatives that deliver results
• Manage site budgets, labour planning, productivity, and operational costs to drive efficiency and achieve performance targets
• Support site maintenance, facilities management, and capital improvement projects to ensure a safe, efficient, and high-performing operation.
• Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and production teams to ensure seamless end-to-end operations
• Partner with internal stakeholders including Trading, Sales, Quality and Finance to optimise operational performance and customer service.
