Life Without Barriers in Hobart, Tasmania is seeking an Operations Manager to establish and lead our new Youth Bail Support Program and related outreach services. Qualifications
- Recognised degree in human services or related field.
- Experience leading youth services or youth justice programs.
- Experience establishing new programs and partnerships.
- Understanding bail conditions and youth justice context.
- Ability to lead teams delivering community-based services.
- Commitment to trauma-informed, strengths-based practice.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-sector collaboration.
- Driver's licence (current) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead establishment and ongoing development of the new Youth Bail Support Program.
- Oversee MAPSS and Placement Preservation programs with tailored Care Plans.
- Develop operational processes and service delivery aligned with YAP model.
- Recruit, lead and support Youth Advocates fostering strong relationships with young people and families.
- Embed trauma-informed, strengths-based and culturally responsive practice across the program.
- Ensure budgeting, risk management, quality assurance and contractual compliance.
