Job summary

Linfox is seeking an AM Shift Supervisor to oversee day-to-day transport movements and ensure safe, efficient delivery outcomes across contracts. The role operates on a 4 on 4 off roster from 5am to 5pm, 12-hour day shift, with time shared across Appin and Port Kembla sites.

You will lead shift planning, coach drivers and ensure compliance with CoR and heavy vehicle regulations while maintaining high service standards across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising transport or logistics operations.
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management, and heavy vehicle compliance.
• Able to manage drivers and subcontractors to meet safety and operational targets.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily shift operations to meet production and delivery targets.
• Manage company and subcontractor fleet for optimal utilisation and performance.
• Monitor driver compliance across fatigue, speed, and safety requirements using systems such as FoxTrax.
• Allocate work and oversee transport movements to maintain efficiency and customer service.
• Lead shift planning, handovers and incident response per company procedures.
• Complete and review driver documentation including run sheets and compliance records.
• Conduct safety audits and promote a strong safety culture.
• Ensure operations comply with CoR, heavy vehicle and site regulations.
• Provide leadership, coaching and feedback to drivers for performance improvement.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders, customers and subcontractors.
