Job summary

Linfox in Erskine Park is seeking an experienced Transport Supervisor to lead daily transport operations within our Consumer & Healthcare Group. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will guide drivers and subcontractors to meet safety, compliance and performance expectations.

You will coordinate fleet schedules, optimise resources and coach frontline teams, while building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in cost, service and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising transport, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management, WHS and transport compliance.
• Experience coordinating fleet schedules, resources and subcontractor operations.
• Proven frontline leadership skills engaging drivers and contractors.
• Strong customer service, communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to analyse operational data, monitor KPIs and identify improvements, supported by strong Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily transport operations, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, on time and in full.
• Plan fleet schedules and optimise company and subcontractor resources to improve utilisation and control costs.
• Lead, coach and support drivers, including onboarding, training, inductions and performance management.
• Maintain compliance with Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management, licensing and accreditation requirements.
• Monitor operational KPIs, fleet performance, maintenance requirements and service delivery outcomes.
• Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships while identifying continuous improvement opportunities
