Job summary

Linfox in Port Hedland seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead daily fuel and general freight operations. This hands-on role works with drivers, schedulers and contractors, with a residential or FIFO 8‑6 roster.

You will drive safety, efficiency and stakeholder coordination across the Pilbara network. The role requires strong leadership, experience with load configurations and fuel distribution, plus strategic planning and safety management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a complex supply chain environment.
• Proven ability to manage people and develop teams.
• Experience with supply contracts including load configurations and truck/trailer allocation.
• General freight, load restraint and fuel distribution knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong planning, scheduling and safety management track record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers and support safe, compliant operations across Pilbara network.
• Conduct yard walks, pre-start checks, fatigue compliance and MT Data requirements.
• Assist scheduling to optimise assets and resources use.
• Lead investigations into safety, operational or compliance issues and recommend actions.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and special projects as needed.
