Job summary

The Arnott's Group is seeking an Operations Finance Manager to join our Huntingwood site and become a key member of the Site Leadership Team. You will partner directly with the Plant Manager to shape financial performance and operational strategy in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Embedded within the operation, you will influence productivity, cost optimisation and future growth, while leading the site finance team and driving governance, reporting and capital decisions across

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments with strong commercial focus.
• Finance business partnering with senior operational stakeholders.
• Product costing and manufacturing finance experience.
• Strong analytical and modelling capabilities.
• CA or CPA qualification required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Plant Manager and Site Leadership Team.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting and budgeting for the site.
• Deliver commercial insights to improve operational performance.
• Drive reporting, analysis and financial decision-making.
• Support capital investment and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage product costing activities across the site.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and profitability.
• Lead and develop the site finance team.
• Ensure governance, controls and financial discipline.

You'll be embedded within the operation, working side-by-side with leaders across Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, Quality and People & Culture. Your insights won't just explain what happened. They'll help determine what happens next.

As a result, this position is expected to be onsite 4-5 days per week.

We're looking for someone who enjoys being visible, partnering directly with operational leaders, walking the floor and influencing decisions in real time. The onsite presence is a critical part of understanding the operation, building credibility and driving better business outcomes.

About You

You're commercially minded, naturally curious and know how to turn financial data into meaningful business decisions. You enjoy partnering with leaders, challenging thinking, identifying opportunities and helping businesses improve performance.

You'll Bring

• Significant experience within FMCG, manufacturing or another complex operational environment
• Strong Finance Business Partnering experience with senior operational stakeholders
• Product costing and manufacturing finance experience
• Exceptional commercial acumen
• A proactive and highly collaborative approach
• Experience leading and developing teams
• Advanced analytical and financial modelling capability
• SAP experience will be highly regarded
• CA or CPA qualification

• Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
• CA or CPA qualified
• Proven experience within FMCG or manufacturing environments

• Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
