Job summary

SRA Solutions in Australia is seeking an Operations Director to lead manufacturing and operations, scale capability to meet rising demand, and work closely with senior leadership to drive improvements, new ways of working, and people development.

You will own P&L for the primary revenue line, oversee a 24-hour three-shift operation, manage supply chain and warehousing, engineering, ERP data integrity, and ensure ISO health and safety compliance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management across P&L, supply chain, engineering, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Hold full accountability for the P&L statement tied to the company's primary revenue line of manufactured product.
• Continuously monitor and minimize waste to ensure all manufacturing processes run at peak efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with senior leaders to support broader business goals.
• Oversee a 24 hour manufacturing operation encompassing three shifts, maintenance engineers, production engineers, continuous improvement leaders, and the electrical assembly team.
• Manage the Supply Chain Manager and warehousing team, handling external supplier relationships, strategic supply chain planning, purchasing, and material issuing.
• Lead the engineering team responsible for ongoing maintenance of existing products and custom engineering solutions for incoming orders.
• Guide the sales order management team to ensure precise ERP data entry, accurate processing, and tight scheduling alignment with manufacturing capacity, purchasing, and engineering.
• Oversee the Safety and Compliance Officer, ensuring ISO frameworks and health and safety policies are established and maintained across the entire organisation.
