Job summary

ANSON Management Consulting Pty Ltd in Perth seeks an experienced Operations Director to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure safe and efficient delivery of products and projects, and drive growth with the Global General Manager.

You will lead operational teams, champion continuous improvement, align resources and systems with growth objectives, contribute to contract execution and pricing, manage risk, and drive workforce planning across the business.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, mining services or engineering.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience influencing cross-functional decisions.
• Engineering/manufacturing background preferred.
• Critical thinking and sound judgement in complex scenarios.
• Excellent business analysis, finance and operations management skills.

About the Role This newly created Operations Director role is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for the day-to-day operational performance of the business — ensuring safe, efficient and profitable delivery of products and projects. Working closely with the Global General Manager, you'll lead operational teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure resources, processes and systems are aligned to support the business' growth objectives. You'll also provide operational input into contract execution, pricing and risk and lead workforce planning to optimise outcomes across the business.

About The Business Our client is a Perth-based manufacturer of proprietary engineering solutions, primarily serving the mining sector across Asia Pacific. As a local success story, the business attracted the interest of a global leader in an aligned sector leading to an acquisition.
