Job summary

Stacked Farm is seeking a versatile Operations Co-ordinator to join our team in Melbourne. You will blend customer service, order processing, and warehouse activity to keep deliveries on time and in pristine condition.

Working across office and warehouse spaces, you will support our sales and customers in the food and beverage sectors, manage inventory, coordinate freight, and liaise with third-party warehouses to ensure seamless logistics.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and order processing is required.
• Proven ability to manage inventory and coordinate warehouse activities.
• Experience liaising with suppliers and logistics partners is a plus.

About the role

This is a varied role combining customer service, order processing, warehouse operations, freight coordination, inventory management and supplier liaison. You'll be the operational heartbeat of the business, ensuring our customers receive the products they need, on time and in perfect condition.

You will work across both office and warehouse environments and play a key role in supporting our sales team and our customers in the food and wine sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Maintenance and contractor management.
• Coordinator cross-team work issues
• Order Management and Customer Service
• Achieving logistics solutions, and will need to quickly build close relationships with consumables ordering and logistics
• Manage our small Warehouse Operations Function and Liaise with our 3 P/L Contract Warehouses
• Inventory Management

About you

• The position requires someone with a great personality fit, so we encourage applicants from the vents, hospitality or customer service fields to apply.
• You must be comfortable with and excited by change, assisting with the launch of the facility, and thriving on no two days being the same!
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable working across both office and warehouse environment
• Confident communicating with customers, suppliers and freight partners
• Proactive and willing to take ownership of issues through to resolution
• Competent using inventory/order management systems, excel and outlook
• Independent, practical and resourceful with a small team
• Experienced in warehousing, logistics, order processing or administration
• Interested in or familiar with food, beverage or wine production
