Job summary

SEITEC, based in Canberra, Australia, seeks an experienced operations professional to own client delivery across contracts, projects and deployments. You’ll coordinate people, plans, suppliers, risks and requirements to ensure successful delivery in a Defence environment.

You’ll be the key interface between customers and internal teams, translating requirements into action and maintaining visibility of progress, priorities and issues as we grow.

Qualifications

• Significant expertise in operations and project delivery.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects and stakeholders; strong planning skills.
• Experience in contract delivery, governance and reporting.
• Australian citizenship with ability to obtain Defence Security Clearance.

Since our commercialisation in 2021, we have developed Nightingale, our software-defined, deployable seismic sensing platform, an advanced capability for detecting and tracking specific targets of interest.

About the opportunity

Working closely with our COO, you’ll take ownership of client delivery across contracts, projects and deployments, coordinating the people, plans, suppliers, risks and operational requirements needed to deliver successfully.

In this role, you’ll be the key interface between our customers and internal teams, translating requirements into action and maintaining clear visibility of progress, priorities, risks and issues.

You’ll also play an important role in strengthening our operational capability as we grow, improving the systems, processes, reporting and governance that underpin consistent delivery.

You will work across our engineering teams, alongside customers, suppliers and other stakeholders in the Defence and national security environment.

About you

You’re an experienced operations professional who enjoys bringing structure to complex, fast-moving environments. You’re comfortable working directly with customers, technical teams and suppliers, and can translate commitments into practical action.

You think ahead, understand dependencies and risks, and take ownership through to completion. You’re commercially aware, highly organised and comfortable working in a technical Defence environment without needing to be the technical expert.

Specifically, we are looking for candidates with:

• Significant expertise in operations, project delivery including experience in customer-facing delivery roles
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, workstreams and stakeholders – therefore stong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills are essential
• Experience in contract delivery and contract management roles including governance and reporting
• Australian citizenship, with the ability to obtain a Defence Security Clearance
