Job summary

HVO in the Hunter Valley is seeking an experienced Operational Technology Technician to join our on-site team. You will set up, maintain and develop OT systems such as Modular, CAT Minestar, Mineware or Leica, and support related communications infrastructure.

You will manage wireless networks, CCTV, microwave links and GuardVant, prioritise tasks to minimise mining disruption, and pursue safety and efficiency improvements through hands-on technical work.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade in Electrical, Auto Electrical or related communication field.
• Experience in similar field hardware roles at large mine sites or relevant industries.
• Excellent computer literacy - proficient in the use of MS Office Suite and SAP programs.
• Problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, maintaining and developing operational technologies such as Modular, CAT Minestar, Mineware or Leica and related communications.
• Setup and maintenance of operational technology wireless networks.
• CCTV, Point to Point and Point to Multipoint Microwave Links and GuardVant management.
• Manage priorities to minimise mining impacts while maximizing fleet system performance.
• Sustain and identify opportunities that improve safety and operating efficiency.
