Job summary

Southern Cross Care is seeking an Operational Support and Clinical Facilitator to work hands-on across our Residential Care homes, guiding, mentoring and supporting nursing and care teams.

In this role you will lead quality audits, support accreditation readiness, review clinical documentation and mentor staff while promoting a healthy ageing approach for all residents.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Bachelor of Nursing and a relevant postgraduate qualification
• Experience in a Clinical Nurse or quality role
• Strong skills in clinical assessment, auditing and problem solving

About the role

As an Operational Support and Clinical Facilitator, you will work hands-on across our Residential Care homes to guide, mentor and support our nursing and care teams.

In this dynamic position, you will lead quality audits, support ACQSC accreditation readiness, and review clinical documentation to ensure high-quality care.

You will also mentor staff, analyse clinical data, and facilitate learning activities that promote a healthy ageing approach for all residents.

About you

You are a Registered Nurse (RN) with current AHPRA registration, a Bachelor of Nursing, and a relevant postgraduate qualification.

You bring previous experience in a Clinical Nurse or quality role, along with strong skills in clinical assessment, auditing, and problem solving.

You are passionate about person‑centred aged care, enjoy educating others, and hold a valid driver's licence.
