Job summary

Darling Downs Health is seeking an Operational Services Officer to help create clean, safe, and supportive environments for patients, staff and visitors across Toowoomba.

You will assist with patient movement, non-clinical support, cleaning, catering and daily operations, working with a team to maintain safety, quality and reliable services in our public health system.

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of operational, environmental or support services, ideally within healthcare or a similar setting.
• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to manage priorities and maintain high standards of safety and quality.
• A proactive approach, sound judgement and a commitment to continuous learning.
• A current C Class driver's licence and the ability to undertake manual handling tasks and shift work requirements.

As an Operational Services Officer, you'll help keep healthcare services running smoothly by creating clean, safe and supportive environments for patients, staff and visitors. From maintaining high service standards to assisting with patient support and facility operations, you'll be part of a team that delivers essential outcomes every day.
