Job summary

Darling Downs Health is seeking an Operational Services Officer - Cook to support patients and the health care team by delivering safe, nutritious meals and maintaining high kitchen standards across our facilities in the Darling Downs region.

You will work with the team to prepare meals, ensure food safety, support stock management and process improvements, and contribute to a compassionate, inclusive workplace with flexible arrangements and development opportunities.

• Experience in preparing food in a commercial kitchen, hospitality or healthcare setting.

As an Operational Services Officer - Cook, you'll play an important role in supporting patients and the wider healthcare team through the delivery of safe, nutritious and enjoyable meals. From preparing food that meets individual dietary needs to maintaining high food safety standards, you'll contribute to a service that helps people feel cared for every day.
