Job summary

Programmed Energy and Resources seeks Experienced Shotfirer Assistants for its mining client in NSW's Lower Hunter region. This hands-on role involves assisting Shotfirers, dipping and tying patterns, priming and loading blast holes, and documenting drill records.

Roster is a 4-day week with 10.5-hour shifts, with superannuation on rostered hours. We value safety, teamwork and opportunities to upskill within a market-leading mining operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in open cut mining preferred.
• Hold a current Driver's Licence.
• Security Clearance (UHL) or willingness to obtain at own cost.
• Able to undergo and pass Order 45 Health assessment and D&A Test.
• Able to undergo a police check.

Responsibilities

• Working out in the elements.
• Assisting Shotfirers.
• Dipping and tying shot patterns.
• Priming and loading blast holes.
• Maintain records of drill holes.
