Job summary

seek.com.au is seeking an Open Cut Mine Pump Operator for a mining environment in Singleton, NSW. The role includes 12-hour shifts on a 7-day roster or 9-hour day shifts, with weekends/public holidays paid accordingly. Qualifications

• Demonstrated willingness and capacity to perform the inherent physical requirements.
• Ability to work independently and within a team in outdoors in all weather conditions.
• A current driver’s license is required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to OH&S standards and practices.
• Ability to comply with Drug & Alcohol requirements.
• Willingness to undergo an Order 45 Coal Services Health Medical.
• Knowledge/experience with large volume electric and diesel pumping systems.
• Recent open cut mine experience.
• Poly welding ticket with poly welding experience.
• HR driving licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate open cut mine pumping equipment and systems.
• Work outdoors in mining environments in all weather conditions.

• Collaborate with the team to maintain wastewater management.
