Job summary

The Bloomfield Group seeks Open Cut Coal Mine Operators at Rix’s Creek Mine, near Singleton, NSW. You will operate a range of large earthmoving equipment, prioritising safety and production targets while staying compliant with procedures and site rules.

We value multi-skilled operators with experience across two or more of the listed machines and a NSW driver's license. The role includes a Monday–Friday night shift roster and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Experience operating open cut coal mining equipment and a focus on safety.
• Ability to work as part of a small team and on a night roster.
• Current NSW Driver’s Licence and multi-skilled equipment capability.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy mining equipment safely to meet production targets.
• Perform pre-start checks and complete required documentation.
• Communicate maintenance needs and cooperate with engineering.
• Maintain housekeeping and equipment care to standards.
• Demonstrate commitment to safe work practices and teamwork.
• Willingness to work Monday to Friday night shift roster.
