Job summary

The Bloomfield Group is seeking a skilled CHPP Operator - Mechanical Tradesperson for the Rix's Creek Mine in New South Wales. You will contribute to safe, efficient coal processing operations during the night shift and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to meet safety, maintenance and production targets.

Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical Trade Qualification, CHPP experience, and strong diagnostic skills, with a commitment to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to safe work practices.
• Mechanical trade qualification relevant to CHPP operations.
• CHPP operating experience within coal processing environments.
• Sound knowledge of coal processing and related standards.
• Experience with troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Excellent teamwork and communication with the crew.
• Current NSW Driver's Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the CHPP in a safe, efficient and productive manner.
• Collaborate with the team on safety, maintenance and production goals.
• Perform quality inspections of CHPP equipment and document as required.
• Apply processing expertise to maintain high operation standards.
• Proactively identify potential issues with trade/operating skills.
• Provide safe breakdown repairs as needed.
• Deliver quality trade-based maintenance in washery and coal handling areas.
