BIG Childcare is seeking enthusiastic Casual OSHC Educators for Glenwood Primary School OSHC in NSW. The role focuses on creating a positive before/after school and vacation care experience for children, with responsibilities ranging from supervising activities to leading arts, sports and cooking experiences.

Ideal candidates will have OSHC or childcare experience, a valid Working With Children Check (NSW) and be available for split shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid Working With Children Check (NSW) is required.
• Experience in OSHC or childcare is highly regarded.
• Availability for morning and afternoon split shifts is essential.
• Currently studying towards or holding an ACECQA approved qualification is preferred.

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual OSHC Educators to join our team in the GlenwoodPrimary School OSHC

About the Role

As an OSHC Educator, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for children before school, after school and during vacation care programs.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and engaging children in fun, educational and recreational activities
• Leading games, sports, arts, crafts and cooking experiences
• Assisting with planning age-appropriate programs
• Setting up and packing down activities and food service areas
• Maintaining a safe, inclusive and supportive environment
• Following company policies, procedures and compliance requirements
• Building positive relationships with children, families, schools and team members

About You

You are energetic, caring and passionate about working with children. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are committed to providing quality care.

Essential Requirements

• Valid Working With Children Check (NSW)
• Experience in OSHC or childcare (highly regarded)
• Currently studying towards or holding an ACECQA approved qualification
• Availability for morning and afternoon split shifts
• National Police Certificate (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain
• Full Australian working rights
