Kestrel Coal Resources in Queensland, Emerald, is seeking a Business Partner Training to join the Health, Safety & Training team onsite at Kestrel. The role operates on a Monday to Friday or 9-day fortnight roster and focuses on training and workforce capability across underground operations.

The successful candidate will develop, facilitate and assess training programs across a broad range of operational roles, liaise with stakeholders, and coordinate external training providers while

Competenze

• Two years' experience in underground coal mining operations.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).
• Strong commitment to workplace health, safety and continuous improvement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and safety standards.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver classroom training.
• Experience developing training (desirable).
• Current Standard 11 Certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Supervisor Qualification (S1, S2, S3) and G2 qualifications (desirable).

Mansioni

• Liaising with stakeholders to identify, coordinate and support training requirements.
• Interacting daily with underground personnel to conduct training and competency assessments.
• Facilitating a range of training programs, including site inductions for employees and contractors.
• Coordinating the delivery of external training with approved training providers.
• Maintaining training records and utilising the HST Learning Management System.
• Reviewing current practices and identifying opportunities to continuously improve safety and training outcomes across site.
