Job summary
Knauf Australia is seeking a Project Coordinator in Pinkenba to oversee onsite plasterboard installation with sub-contractors, ensuring safe, quality work aligns with contracts and timelines.
You will manage the supply and installation of Knauf plasterboard products for residential homes, enforce safety and quality standards, induct subcontractors, and develop strong customer relationships to grow Knauf Linings' position.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in residential building industry.
- Trade qualified plastering experience is highly regarded.
- Ability & willingness to travel.
- Successful completion of pre-employment medical (implied by hiring process).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate onsite plasterboard installation with sub-contractor trades to ensure safe, quality installation per contract requirements and timelines.
- Coordinate safe and profitable supply and installation of plasterboard products and accessories to residential homes.
- Induct and train new subcontract labour in safety and quality systems.
- Manage subcontractors to ensure compliance and approve completion prior to payment.
- Develop customer relationships and strengthen Knauf Linings position; introduce new Knauf systems to customers.
