Job summary

Randstad is seeking an Operations Coordinator in Tomago to plan routes and schedule vehicles and drivers, ensuring efficient waste collection and accurate invoicing. The role is fully onsite and operates on a full-time contract basis with standard business hours, offering opportunities for temp-to-perm progression.

You will liaise with customers, manage site access, and maintain records while supporting daily operations and reporting obligations.

Qualifications

Background in administration and customer service.
Experience in a blue-collar, fleet, or transport environment is highly regarded.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a team-player attitude.
Ability to prioritize and problem-solve in a dynamic, high-demand setting.
Fault and Fatigue reporting or waste industry experience is desirable, but not essential.

Responsibilities

Liaise directly with customers to schedule services, manage site access, and resolve operational issues promptly.
Plan efficient routes and schedules to allocate vehicles and drivers, maximizing collection volumes.
Conduct daily driver debriefs and assist with Fault and Fatigue reporting.
Respond to customer inquiries to assist with new business and maintain service records.
Create and maintain accurate EPA waste tracking records online and generate operational reports.
Build strong working relationships with drivers and internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
