Job summary

Six Degrees Executive is helping a well‑established Australian food producer recruit an on‑site finance partner to the General Manager Farming. You will own month‑end, reporting, forecasting, budgeting and capex tracking for your area, with a hands‑on, practical focus.

Based at one of the farming/processing sites, you’ll work with operations leaders to explain costs, build business cases for investments and drive cost reductions. Power BI and Snowflake skills will grow with you.

Qualifications

• Hands-on finance professional with manufacturing/processing or agribusiness accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end, reporting, forecasting, budgeting and capex tracking for your area.
• Explain key cost drivers and variances to budget in plain language.
• Model scenarios to support stocking, harvest and production decisions.
• Build business cases for capital investment and drive cost reductions.
• Improve processes, reporting and data quality, with Power BI and Snowflake growth.
