Job summary

Theos Bros. (Aust.) Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a Project Engineer to join our on-site civil construction teams.

You will work alongside experienced engineers to oversee site activities, ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget, and uphold the highest safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, has 3–5 years of relevant experience, and is skilled in excavation, remediation, and concrete FRP.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years in a similar project engineer role.
• Experience in Bulk and Detail Excavation, Remediation and Concrete FRP.
• Strong communication and teamwork with safety and quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day site management and supervision of construction activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor progress to meet timelines, safety regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and maintain site documentation, including reports, progress updates and quality control records.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site teams and contractors.
• Assist with procurement and logistics for construction materials and equipment.
• Participate in project meetings and support resolution of on-site issues.
