Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is seeking a Café Shift Lead to manage day-to-day cafe operations onsite at Woolooware Shores, with a rotating Monday–Sunday roster. You’ll lead food prep, service delivery and daily tasks while upholding food safety and resident care standards.

The role requires 5+ years in hospitality or kitchen settings, FSS, RSA, and WWCC, plus strong communication and teamwork to support a welcoming café environment. Join a values-driven team committed to community.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in café, hospitality, food production or kitchen environment.
• Current Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) certificate.
• Current RSA certificate.
• Current WWCC or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of food safety, HACCP standards.
• Excellent communication skills, including fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the café with hands-on leadership.
• Assist with food preparation, service delivery and daily operations.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, presentation, cleanliness and resident service.
• Provide guidance and onboarding for Café Assistants and team members.
• Promote safe work practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
