Job summary

Griffith University is seeking an experienced instructional designer to lead the development of fully online degrees within the Online Strategy Unit. You will work across campuses to design high-quality, student-centred online programs using modern learning technologies.

The role requires postgraduate qualifications in instructional design or teaching, strong collaboration with academics and a commitment to accessibility and inclusive design. Fixed-term until February 2027, Logan campus, similar.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in learning and teaching in higher education.
• Ability to design and develop fully online courses and resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop high quality fully online courses per design and resource requirements.
• Partner with academics, students and stakeholders to design engaging online learning experiences.
• Apply Universal Design for Learning and other modern learning strategies.
• Design assessment strategies to foster transferable skills and employability.
• Advise and support clients during design, development, delivery and evaluation.
• Manage multiple complex projects with budgets and timelines.
• Develop professional learning programs for academics and staff.
