Job summary

Griffith University is seeking a specialist to drive online education strategy within the Online Strategy Unit (OSU) and oversee the development of fully online degrees. You will collaborate with academics and staff to deliver high-quality, technology-enabled learning experiences across multiple campuses.

The role requires postgraduate qualifications in Instructional Design or Teaching, plus experience in learning and teaching.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience working in learning and teaching.
• Candidates must have full unrestricted Australian work rights and may be subject to a National criminal history check.

Responsibilities

• Work as an effective and collaborative member of the OSU to develop high quality fully online courses.
• Design, develop and evaluate high-quality active, authentic, and collaborative student-centred learning experiences for fully online delivery.
• Integrate contemporary learning and teaching strategies to guide course, program, and resource design including UDL and social learning.
• Collaboratively design diagnostic, formative and summative assessment strategies to foster authentic and transferable skills.
• Advise and support clients and stakeholders during design, development, delivery, and evaluation of resources and programs.
• Use current and emerging educational technologies to create solutions within OSU design models.
• Facilitate integration of services and digital resources to support student learning experiences.
