Job summary

Worklocker on the Sunshine Coast HQ is hiring an Online Fulfilment & Store/Decoration Assistant to manage online orders, stock and decoration flow. About half the week is picking, packing and dispatching orders for our online stores, the other half is unpacking and processing stock deliveries and helping the decoration team with digital printing.

The role is on-site at Kawana with up to 38 hours per week, either full time or part time.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in daily tasks.
• Confident using computers and learning order/shipping/POS software quickly.
• Physically able to stand, lift and carry cartons safely.
• Organised with time management across dual work streams.
• Reliable, punctual and a team player with clear English communication.
• Desirable experience in warehouse/fulfilment and garment decoration.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and dispatch online orders accurately and same day when possible.
• Check orders against picking slips for style, colour, size and quantity.
• Process stock transfers and follow up missing or delayed items.
• Prepare consignments and labels for Australia Post collections.
• Pack orders neatly to minimise freight costs and handle returns.
• Assist with stock receiving, stocktakes and packing stock away.
• Support decoration tasks with the Digital Print Specialist and prep garments for decoration.
• Follow WHS policies, keep dispatch area tidy, and maintain safety around equipment.

Worklocker is expanding our team and hiring an Online Fulfilment & Store/Decoration Assistant to join the team at the Sunshine Coast HQ immediately. Join the fastest-growing Workwear Business in South East Queensland and work in an awesome team. This role gets online orders out accurately and on time, and keeps stock and decoration work moving at Kawana. About half the week is picking, packing and dispatching orders for our online stores. The other half is unpacking and processing stock deliveries and helping the decoration team with digital printing. Full time or Part Time hours available up to 38 hours per week. Key responsibilities – online fulfilment (about 50%)

• Pick, pack and dispatch online orders accurately and and on the same day where possible
• Check every order against the picking slip for style, colour, size and quantity before it is sealed
• Process stock transfers coming into Kawana for online orders and follow up any missing or delayed items
• Prepare consignments and labels in the shipping system and get them ready for Australia Post collection
• Pack orders neatly and securely, using packaging efficiently to keep freight costs down
• Process returns and exchanges, inspect returned goods and put saleable stock back away
• Flag stock discrepancies, damaged goods and out-of-stock items to the right person straight away
• Keep the dispatch area clean, organised and stocked with packing materials
• Key responsibilities – store and decoration support (about 50%)

Stock receiving

• Unpack incoming supplier deliveries and check them against packing slips and purchase orders
• Report short, over or incorrect deliveries to Purchasing for follow-up with the supplier
• Ticket, label and put away stock, and prepare stock transfers to the stores
• Help with stocktakes and stock counts when required

Decoration support

• Help the Digital Print Specialist prepare and run digital print jobs on garments
• Prepare garments for decoration, including checking the job against the order and counting and sorting stock
• Fold, bag, label and pack finished decoration jobs for collection or dispatch
• Do quality checks on finished garments and report any faults before they leave the facility
• Keep print equipment and work areas clean, and follow equipment care and safety instructions
• Learn other decoration tasks as directed, such as heat pressing

Workplace health and safety and general duties

• Follow all WHS policies and procedures, including safe manual handling and safe use of print and heat equipment
• Report hazards, incidents and near misses to your manager straight away
• Wear the required uniform and safety footwear
• Follow the agreed weekly schedule between fulfilment and decoration, and tell your manager early if workload means it needs to change
• Help in other areas of the business, including in-store when required, and do other reasonable duties within your skills and training
