Cleve Area School is seeking an Operational Services Manager with a passion for agriculture to join our team. You will lead the day-to-day commercial operation of Sims Farm and support teaching staff to deliver agricultural programs.

You will promote continuous improvement in teaching and learning, manage farm equipment and support relationships with staff, students, families and local industry partners. This role requires independent planning and strong collaboration.

Competenze

• Experience in sustainable farming practices, especially broad-acre dryland farming.
• Ability to operate and maintain farm equipment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with staff, students, parents, and local industry.
• Ability to plan own daily/weekly routines without direct supervision.

Job Description: At Cleve Area school we strive to support each individual to achieve their personal best. We are currently seeking an Operational Services Manager with a passion for agriculture to join our team.

What you will do:

• Lead the day to day commercial operation of Sims Farm.
• Collaborate with staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
• Support the Agricultural Education by assisting teachers to deliver the program.
• Assist in the development of the Agricultural teaching program.
• Operate and manage farm equipment.
• Manage sheep (tagging / flocking) and ensure flock health.

What you will bring:

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of a range of sustainable farming practices, particularly those involved in a dryland, broad-acre farming enterprise.
• Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain a variety of equipment commonly used in agriculture.
• Ability to establish sound and effective relationships with staff, students, parents, local farmers, industry specialists, and sponsors.
• Ability to work without direct supervision and plan own daily/weekly routines.
