A bit about the role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the testing function for the City of Casey’s OneCouncil Program, a major digital transformation initiative. In this role, you will perform end-to-end testing across multiple workstreams, ensuring systems are thoroughly validated and ready for delivery. Leveraging AI to deliver improvements and efficiencies in testing practices.

Working closely with project teams, business analysts and technical specialists, you will contribute to the test strategy, perform and coordinate testing activities and help ensure high-quality outcomes that support the organisation and the community.

What You’ll deliver
  • Perform & coordinate effective testing across multiple workstreams and system modules.
  • High-quality functional, integration, regression and non-functional testing outcomes.
  • Input into clear test reporting and insights to support informed release decisions.
  • Continuous improvement in testing processes, automation and quality assurance practices.
What you’ll bring
  • Tertiary qualification in IT or a related business field.
  • Certification in Testing (ISTQB or equivalent).
  • TechnologyOne applications experience would be an advantage.
  • Extensive experience in software testing covering all test types and levels of test.
  • Experience in API testing with Postman, SoapUI or similar tools.
  • Hands‑on experience with test management and automation tools.
  • Willingness to undergo pre‑employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check and Eligibility to Work check.
  • A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
