Mingara Recreation Club is seeking a warm Aqua Fitness Instructor to lead our Aqua Bootcamp, Hydro Rider, and Actives programs for older adults and low-impact participants. This casual role offers potential progression to permanent part-time.

You will foster welcoming water-based sessions and motivate members to achieve health and fitness goals with confident communication. Availability for early mornings and evenings is essential; qualification or willingness to obtain a WWC Check is required.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work early mornings and evenings.
• Aqua Fitness qualification (or willingness to obtain; fully funded).
• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).

One by Mingara offers high-quality aquatics facilities, including an indoor heated 50-metre pool and hydrotherapy and leisure pools, supporting a wide range of inclusive aqua fitness programs for all ages and abilities.

We are seeking a warm, engaging, and passionate Aqua Fitness Instructor to connect with our members across our Aqua Bootcamp, Hydro Rider, and Actives classes. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for aquatics and fitness, along with a genuine desire to encourage, support, and motivate members of all abilities to achieve their health and fitness goals with confident communication. This Casual role (with an opportunity for the right candidate to move to permanent part time) focuses on shallow-water aqua aerobics only, primarily working with older adults and participants seeking low-impact, joint-friendly exercise. The role requires someone who can quickly build rapport, create welcoming and inclusive water-based sessions for all confidence and fitness levels, and who loves working with people as much as they love movement.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Must be available to work early mornings and evenings
• Warm, engaging and confident communicator
• Aqua Fitness qualification (or willingness to obtain - fully funded by us if not yet qualified!)
• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
