Job summary

Calvary Mater Newcastle is seeking a Registered Nurse Medical Oncology for a permanent full-time position. You will deliver safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care to people with cancer across the continuum, including diagnosis through chemotherapy, immunotherapy and radiotherapy support.

Applicants must be an AHPRA-registered nurse with at least two years’ post‑registration experience (Acute) and an interest in oncology nursing.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration to practise in Australia.
• Minimum two years’ post-registration experience in acute care.
• Interest in oncology nursing and patient-centred cancer care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care to people with cancer across the continuum (diagnosis through chemotherapy, immunotherapy and radiotherapy).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patients and families in a fast-paced clinical setting.
