Job summary
Calvary Mater Newcastle is seeking a Radiation Oncology Nurse Practitioner/Transitional Nurse Practitioner to deliver advanced nursing care within an autonomous and collaborative practice model. You will conduct advanced assessments, contribute to diagnosis and treatment planning, and provide clinical leadership across oncology and radiation therapy services.
Role requires AHPRA nursing registration or NP pathway completion, extensive oncology experience, and demonstrated ability to work within
Qualifications
- Oncology nursing experience across clinical settings.
- Advanced assessment, triage, intervention and care planning.
- Leadership in multidisciplinary teams and education.
- Experience with evidence-based outcomes and research.
Responsibilities
- Provide autonomous nursing care within an autonomous and collaborative model.
- Undertake advanced assessment, diagnosis, prescribing where applicable, and treatment planning.
- Lead clinical leadership initiatives and contribute to service development and quality improvement.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise cancer care and radiation therapy outcomes.
