Job summary

Western Sydney Local Health District – Westmead NSW is seeking a Clinical Trials Manager to lead one of Australia's largest oncology clinical trial portfolios.

You will join the Westmead Medical Oncology Clinical Trial Unit (MOCTU), directing a multidisciplinary team and shaping trial delivery across Phase 1 to Phase 4 studies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic planning, growth and operational management of the Oncology Clinical Trial Unit.
• Manage and develop a high-performing clinical trials workforce through leadership, mentoring and training.
• Oversee the delivery of a large and complex clinical trial portfolio, ensuring compliance with protocols, Good Clinical Practice and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with investigators, sponsors, regulatory bodies and key stakeholders.
• Drive quality improvement, risk management, performance reporting and service excellence across the unit.
