Job summary

St Vincent's Private Hospital Brisbane is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator/Registered Nurse to lead the coordination and delivery of high-quality clinical trials at the Kinghorn Cancer Centre. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure compliance with study protocols, ICH-GCP, and privacy regulations.

Responsibilities include participant screening, scheduling, data collection, sample coordination, and ongoing communication with patients, staff, and sponsors.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse (Division 1) with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or working towards related qualifications in clinical research.
• Demonstrated leadership ability within a team and ability to use initiative.
• Experience with secure data management, trial data collection, and knowledge of HREC and RGO submissions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and oncology/haematology research.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centred clinical trials within The Kinghorn Cancer Centre.
• Screen and recruit participants, coordinate study visits and trial schedules.
• Educate patients and staff; collect and manage clinical trial data; coordinate biological samples.
• Monitor trials, respond to data queries, and maintain communication with sponsors and partners.
• Provide nursing care within scope for RN (Clinical Research) role, including care planning and evaluation.
