Job summary

BGIS Global Integrated Solutions Canada – Cardiff NSW is seeking two experienced Works Supervisors to support residential maintenance across the Central Coast to Newcastle. You will oversee subcontractors, inspect properties, and ensure works meet safety and contractual standards.

Based at Cardiff office with regular travel, you will engage with tenants, coordinate teams, and report progress. The role requires a trade background, strong communication, and the ability to work independently within

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or technical training in a building-related discipline.
• Experience supervising subcontractors in residential maintenance.
• Sound understanding of WHS regulations and safe work practices.
• Warm, effective communication with tenants and diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of maintenance services through supervision of subcontractors and self-perform teams.
• Communicate clearly with tenants to understand and address maintenance requirements.
• Conduct property inspections, including final inspections of completed works.
• Provide technical guidance to client personnel to support value-for-money outcomes.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Report daily on work progress and completions, and financial expenditure.
