Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services ANZ is seeking an On-Site Service Coordinator to join Curtis Island operations. This hands-on role coordinates waste and recycling streams, ensures staff induction, training and safe site practices, and provides operational leadership to keep tasks on track.

You will oversee vehicle movements, coordinate barge waste removals, advise clients on regulatory requirements and service capability, and maintain accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Forklift Licence mandatory.
• Experience in waste management highly desirable.
• Proven ability to lead and work in small teams.
• Ability to manage customer requests through to completion.
• Pre-employment medical and police clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of all staff on site, including inductions, training and ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Coordination of all waste removal from the site by barge.
• Advise customer on regulatory requirements and service capability.
• Manage the vehicles around the site.
• Accurate completion of all paperwork and reporting.
