Johnson Recruitment is seeking a Supply & Inventory Manager for a private hospital in Melbourne's northern suburbs. The role blends hands-on stores work with leadership as the department scales over the first year.

You will lead dock operations, purchasing, stock reconciliations, and supplier management, while mentoring a small team. The role offers a 38-hour week with 7:00am–3:00pm or 8:00am–4:00pm shifts, and requires police checks.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of hands-on inventory control & purchasing experience.
• Small-team leadership or 2IC experience.
• Comfort with physical stock handling and administrative tasks.
• Healthcare/hospital or MedTech exposure is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP inventory software.

Aufgaben

• Lead daily dock operations, physical receipting, put-away, sterile stock storage, and replenishment across theatres and wards.
• Raise purchase orders, manage stock minimums/maximums, monitor backorders, reconcile invoices with Finance.
• Oversee tracking, receipting and reconciliation of surgical prostheses and specialized clinical consumables.
• Coach, mentor and roster a small stores team with emphasis on safety, accuracy and customer service.
• Partner with Theatre Unit Managers, clinicians and Finance to resolve urgent stock needs and identify cost-efficiency initiatives.
