Job summary

Golding Contractors is seeking an experienced SHET Advisor to support South Brisbane and Ipswich urban project sites. This boots-on-the-ground role focuses on influencing safe behaviours, building trust with site teams, and delivering practical SHET guidance across multiple urban sites.

You will work closely with Project Managers and site teams to drive a positive safety culture, improve SHET systems, and implement risk-management practices in a fast-paced urban environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety.
• Project-based experience within the civil industry.
• Strong knowledge of SHET systems, legislation and risk management.
• Experience in risk assessments, audits, incident reporting and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Building strong, trusted relationships through a visible and engaging site presence.
• Facilitating risk assessments aligned to project activities.
• Developing and championing project-specific SHET monitoring programs.
• Supporting and improving the application of SHET Management Plans.
• Providing practical SHET advice to Project Managers.
• Contributing to toolbox talks, pre-starts and site communications.
• Supporting inductions, incident reporting and investigations.
• Delivering SHET training and contributing to broader improvement initiatives.
