Job summary

Airbus Australia is seeking a Safety & Quality Partner to join our Richmond, NSW site on-site. You will embed the Integrated Safety Management System (iSMS), champion a proactive health, safety and environmental culture, and ensure compliance with WHS legislation across maintenance and engineering activities.

Reporting to the Manager Safety & Quality Australia, you will work with site leaders, engineers, and customers to identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, lead audits and investigations,

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Work Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline.
• Experience in operational HSE partnering, ideally in aviation/defence environments.
• Knowledge of Australian/NSW WHS legislation and risk mitigation.
• Experience leading incident investigations and audits against ISO 45001/14001/9001.

Responsibilities

• Act as direct point of contact for hangar and workshop teams, leaders, and site management.
• Facilitate hazard identification and risk assessments; lead incident triage and corrective controls.
• Conduct on-site safety, environmental, and quality audits against iSMS standards.
• Lead investigations, identify root causes, and share lessons across sites.
• Guide safe work procedures, lead emergency preparedness, and champion wellbeing initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal departments and customer assurance to resolve safety matters.
