Job summary

The Reject Shop is seeking a hands-on Fit Out Project Manager to deliver store fit outs and refurbishments across Australia. This on-site role focuses on coordinating trades, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.

You'll apply practical construction knowledge, manage budgets, timelines and capital workflows, and report progress and risks to senior leadership while driving consistent, high‑quality retail environments across our

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience delivering retail fit outs, refurbishments, or store conversions.
• Strong construction knowledge across electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, and architectural disciplines.
• Experience on-site and managing trades directly.
• SAP experience (preferred).
• Retail background ideally within rollout or conversion programs.
• Hands-on, practical mindset with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end fit out and refurbishment projects for individual retail stores across Australia.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, forecasting, and capital workflows.
• Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• On-site oversight of trades to ensure work aligns with plan and standards.
• Ensure compliance with NCC, BCA, and safety standards.
• Use SAP to manage project documentation, purchasing, and spend tracking.
• Provide clear updates to senior leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes.
