Job summary

Maranoa Regional Council is seeking Plant Operator / Labourer roles across regional locations in Queensland, Australia. The positions are permanent, full-time and based on-site, with a fortnightly pay cycle and an annual salary of AUD 65,000.00–$66,000.00.

You will operate Council plant and perform maintenance tasks across Yuleba, Wallumbilla, Surat and surrounding areas. The role offers five weeks of annual leave, long service leave after seven years, a nine-day fortnight with a rostered day

Qualifications

• Permanent, Full-Time position.
• On-site work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain town entrances, streets, parks, gardens and open spaces through mowing, slashing, spraying, weed control, irrigation, landscaping and pruning.
• Undertake litter collection across streets, parks, open spaces and town approaches.
• Maintain and clean culverts, gutters, drains and streets.
• Safely operate and maintain a range of Council plant, machinery, tools and equipment.
